Hi,
I'm using Sharepoint 2003 BT2 TR,
in order to make a full backup of all portals in the Sharepoint, how do I
use stsbackup command line (non-GUI mode)?

I tried this command, but it doesn't work correctly:

"C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server
extensions\60\BIN\SPSBACKUP.EXE" /all /portal "http://myportal" /file
"C:\Backups\MyPortal" /overwrite

Anyone have tried this command and worked it correctly?

Thanks a lot,

Hello Jordi,
Well you may want to try these steps instead for a full backup

1. Go to Program Files\SharePoint Portal Server\Bin
2. run "spsbackup /all /file c:\backup

Hope this Helps!

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I've tried those steps but they didn't work. My
backup wasn't completed correctly. Are there any other suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

Regards

How can you determine what was actually backed up? Seems like the backup
goes so fast that I fear not all is there?

Hello TJO,
Look at the backup log that gets created in the Program Files\SharePoint
Portal Server\logs folder. That will give you the information that you need.

Hope this helps!

Hi,
I've looked my server logs and I've some problems with the write permissions
in backup's directory. I've solved those problems and now, the backup
process runs fine!

Sabre, those steps were correct. Thank you for your help!!

Best regards
