There are a number of things that can cause this error. Here are the most
common:
1. IIS instance numbers
-323234 You Receive a "Script Execution Error: Error executing INVOKE
query"
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=323234
2. Incorrect Proxy settings
-Check proxyconfig and make sure the settings are correct.
3. Incorrect Extranet or SSL setup.

Workspaces

4. Not having the same authentication method for all portal folders
-Start at the root of the server and make sure that ONLY Basic or ONLY
Integrated is checked and apply on all child objects
There are a number of other things that will cause the same error such as
uploading a file called "Documents" into the root of the workspace,
restoring a corrupt backup, modifying files in the Resources folder, etc.
but these are less common.
I hope that helps
