Hi,

A user is scanning files which gets saved as a tif. Once uploaded into a
document library in sharepoint, only the first page is displayed versus all
10 pages. Does anyone know why this may be occurring? Thank you!

Are you sure that the TIF has all the 10 pages? Open TIF outside SharePoint
in any image viewing software to see if it contains all the 10 pages.

What application is opening the tif from SharePoint? some apps have
different techniques for navigating through multipage files.

it looks like its opening with quicktime...is there such a thing as
application association within sharepoint?

If it's a TIF then by default, it should open with a image viewing
application like MS ImageViewer. Quicktime is a video playing software.
Check your file extension once again, if it is TIF then it should open with
a image viewer application instead of quicktime. The next step will be to
check the application that is associated with the TIF extension. You can
associate an extension with an application. Some applications on
installation ask you if you would like to associate a file with the
application and if you click "Yes", application would make changes in your
registry to change the associations.

right...those were my thoughts but the local machine file association is
correct b/c when i open the file locally it opens with an image application
versus when it's opened from Sharepoint it is done with Quicktime. The file
extension being used is .tif which i believe is correct. I wonder if there's
a separate file extension association in sharepoint...
