hey,

i had sharepoint 2003 installed on my server and probably i unistalled it or
just installed it again by accident.

now i need to restore the sites i had on this DB.
i found only the STS_Server_Number DB on the SQL DB and i opened the tables
and found all the data there (web details and docs details). i didn't found
the STS_COFIG_NUMER there, but just other STS_CONFIG files, apparently from
the ather installations.

i tried to add the contect DB, but i get "current number of sites: 0". and
when i add a site i get : 1 site, and in the WEBS table i see the details of
the ner site, also with the details of all the other webs.

it is really important for me to restore this site or at least just the docs
i had on it.

thanks!

Not any more. Next time if the wss.collutions.com site is not working, try
the mirror at www.wssfaq.com - this article is III.38.

P.S. I've just replied to this in portalserver.development - please in
future save other people's time and effort by only posting a question to one
newsgroup.
