All files for sharepoint portal and wss is located in
%systemroot%\program files\common files\microsoft shared\web server extension\60\template
If you use english language files are under 1033 in other case in folder
with LCID of language.
There's also layouts folder which contains scripts and pages that may use
anywhere in sharepoint.

Remember that all of the content is placed in the database with SharePoint.
So you will not find the files you have uploaded on the file system but in
the DB.

hm.. that i thought as much.... Thanks.

But maybe you can help me even so...? We have an existing phonebook in
ASP what we already use in our intranet. But in Sharepoint it doesn't
work. How do I include an existing dynamic website normally?

Best regards
Michael
