Sharepoint Services Help states "You must be a member of the local
administrators group for the server computer or a member of the SharePoint
administrators group to view the Central Administration pages."

Is there no other way around this??? I work for a very large company and
manage the project server for our project managers. To add each and every
project manager to the local admin group on our project server seems a bit
excessive and a bit of a security risk. In addition, I'd have to walk
through fire in order to get a special domain group created specifically for
this SPS setup. Is there no other way to give admin rights to SPS Central
Admin pages?

Thanks

That is the only way I know how.
