There was a trainee who was given an account over our AD. Now he left and
the AD admin has deleted his profile.
The problem that his personal site still at the sharepoint DBs and his
alerts still active so each notification to him failes while his email is not
any more there and I receive a "Delevery Failed" report as I am the "Reply
To" email.

"When you remove a user from a Web site, site group, or cross-site group
after he or she has created alerts, you must manually delete any alerts that
he or she has set up. This is also true for any lists or libraries where you
change security settings to limit access. If a user has set up alerts for the
list or library, he or she will continue to receive them after you change the
security settings. It is important to delete these alerts to prevent
unauthorized users from having access to site and user information.""

I tried to apply the appDomain workaround but fianlly I got this error
message :(

I am trying to retreive sps info by its OM thru a web control not a web
part. this web control is safe and fully trusted.

Also, I am running the application pool under a domin account which is the

Hi Steve,

I tried the trial version, but there is not options to reset the alerts :(
Do I need to develop a sample page or web part that lists and manage all of
the portal users alerts? Can I do such a sample project?

Regards,
ME.
