I have a stand alone 2000 server running Sharepoint 2001.
I have admin rights ( on the server ) and Coordinator rights ( in
sharepoint).
When I try to add a document, I get the following error. Access
Denied - You do not have permission to access this item.
I goto the url http://servername/site and the home page.
I have the following options ( no Site settings)
Home Search Categories Document Library Subscriptions Management
I click on document library and then click on either add sub-folder or add
document, and for both I get the following error Access Denied - You do not
have permission to access this item.
Does it matter that the server is standalone and not in a Domain? NT or
2000 make a difference if so?
How can I add user and give permission in SPS?
