Hi All

I Have to change the Default.aspx page and add two new webparts. I dunno how
to do that. Also at the same time I dont want to you "MySite" feature to make
a new portal. Is there a way in which I can edit the Default.aspx page, if
yes - how do I edit it.

Another problem that I'm facing is deleting accounts from SPP. I've
intregrated SPP users with AD. The moment I remove a name from AD, it does
not reflect in SharePoint. Also I cant delete the account from SPP if it is
deleted in AD. I can only delete the account when I "Disable" the User in AD.
This is creating a lot of mess, as I have people who have left the
organization but still are a part of the AD, just because of SharePoint.

Can anyone help me with this.

u add webparts by clicking on edit page (bottom left) and then modify page
(top right)
If u remove a name from ad u have to wait until the next profile import
schedule starts on sharepoint.

Hi Dave,

Well, I have deleted a name from AD. The moment I "Remove" it from SPS,
it give the error as "Couldn not find user with corresponding SID in the
domain. Check the spelling of the account name and try again"

This means that I'm not able to delete the UserAccount from Sharepoint
even after doing a profile import.

Well modifying default.aspx after deployment will put you in the
unsupported zone. What do you need to edit it for?
