Do I need to have certain rights on the domain (like
Domain Admin rights) or use a particualr domain account in
order to install SPS Technical Refresh successfully? I am
running into a problem when trying to use an ordinary
domain account (that is a local admin on the server) or
the local admin account.

Thanks,
Divyesh

Divyesh,

I just successfully installed Windows 2003 Server and
SharePoint v2 successfully on a machine that was not
connected to the network. I used the local admin account
to do this.
