"The file exsists" 0x80070050 error when restoring a web application

Hi,

I installed a MOSS 2007 server on a Windows 2003 Enterprise host
running a domain controller along with exchange server and SQL Server
Express on the same machine.

I used SharePoint Designer to customize the default "SharePoint - 80"
web application.

I made a backup of the "SharePoint - 80" web application using the
"Central Administration".

Now I am trying to restore this backup on another Windows 2003
Enterprise host running the same set of servers (DC, Exchange, SQL,
MOSS 2007). The restore is successful but I got an error when browsing
the restored web application:

The file exists. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070050)

I searched all possible resources, forums and blogs. It seams that it
is a permission problem but I could not find a wayout!

I working on this problem for 6 days so far

I read somewhere that a similar issue was resolved by going into
component services and adding
network service into the permissions of netman.

Had the same problem when upgrading from 2003 to 2007. Discovered that the
Site Collection owner on the original was not valid on the 2007 domain.
Recommend you double check the permissions for the Site Collection
Administrators in the original setup. Give the SC Admin local admin rights
(temporarily at least) on the new box and try the attach again.
