When I created the sharepoint server, I used internal DNS namespaces. Now I
that the site is open externally, I notice that the sharepoint email
notifications still use the internal DNS address to point to links to the
sharepoint server. This wont work for remote users. Any help correcting
this? Thanks in advance.

As a general rule whatever URL you asked the site from when you created the
alert will be the URL it sends in the email.

When I email an attachment to someone, it sends the link to that user which
the local DNS name. Is that an alert or a notification? Either way how
would I change it? I looked for any alerts and couldn't find any.
