document versioning problem.

Thanks ted,

The problem is instead of checking out and editing , my users are editing it
without checking out - while saving, they are saving in the previous name in
the same folder. So I miss all versions.

Can you help me in this regards

or u have set the DL version control enabled?
1. Modify settings and columns ->
2. Change general settings ->
3. Document Versions
Specify whether a backup copy, or version, is created each time you edit a
file in this document library. More information on versions.


Create a version each time you edit a file in this document library?
Yes No -->

and Select Yes?
