We created a portal based on Sharepoint Portal Server. We also have WSS
installed. We need to allow all users accessing the portal to create a
workspace which will be used as a collaboration space to share documents
etc. Since all our users on the portal are readers, they cannot create
workspaces. Is there a way to be able to solve this problem? And is there
any webpart which shows, for the currently logged in user, only the
workspaces he is member of ?

Thanks

Hi,

Why not allow them to use My Sites ? I believe this would give you what
you're looking for, with spices :D

Hope it helped.
Kind regards,

You can edit the site group permissions for the readers group to allow
personal site creation.
