Is there a tool to help create large amounts of data for the various server
farm configurations to assist in scalability and performance testing?

For example Exchange has loadsim. Does SharePoint 2003 have any tools to
assist in this?

Thanks in advance

you can use the application center that is delivered with visual studio
architect I think. With this product you can test the request to your IIS
server...not data.

Thanks. We're actually trying to work with a 3rd party backup application
and trying to see what performance will be like as we move forward with a
SharePoint deployment. We don't have much data at this point, but would like
to get a feel for performance for down the road.

Thanks
