Importing an infopath form into sharepoint server 2007

I all,

I have to import an infopath form into sharepoint server on a site which I
am not the owner. Which authorization should I have in order to publish it
directly from within the infopath software?

How are you trying to publish the form? (to a library, as a content
type, etc?)

You would need a valid sharepoint account with contribute rights unless i'm
mistaken. Curious as to why you wouldn't have this if you're uploading forms
though????

In fact, my user doesn't have any rights right now. I was just building my
security around my sharepoint server and I wondered what security rights
should be enough for him to publish infopath forms into my server. So
contributor would be OK?

Hi Luc,

Contributor rights should be enough to upload the forms. If you say, need to
upload and activate administrator approved templates or content types, you
will need administrative privileges.
