When I did an import of AD for the People search, it also imported the
disabled accounts. How can I keep it from doing this?

Thanks.

Is there a way to purge out what is currently in the db? I tried yoru

after I did a full scan).

Thanks.

It takes 3 passes of the user import for the users to drop out.

The easiest way for you to clear everything and start over is to

Click Site Settings
Click Configure Search and indexing
Click enable advanced search administration mode
click ok at the warning screen
Now click on manage indexes
hover over the portal_content index and click the drop down
now choose reset index

Now your index is empty! So you need to do a full update to get your search
results back but you will be without users until you do another profile
import.

I did as you suggested, and then searched afterwards for anyone. No one
showed up, so I know the reset worked. Then I went to

Site Settings > Manage Profile Database > Configure Profile Import > Manage
Connections

There, I clicked on each of my Connections and made sure that the User
Filter said the following:
(&(objectCategory=person)(objectClass=user)(
!(userAccountControl:1.2.840.113556.1.4.803:=2)))

After I did that, I clicked on Start Full Import under Site Settings >
Manage Profile Database. Then I did a search for an account that I know to
be disabled, that has been disabled for months now. Unfortunately, the
account was returned in the results.

Any ideas? Did I mess something up?

Thanks!
Joshua
