I got a Configuration Failed message during I install MOSS 2007!
The message shows:
An exception of type system.Data.SqlClient.SqlException was thrown.
Additional exception information:
Windows NT user or group 'MOSS2007\angi' not found, Check the name again.

I read many news on this group but still can't solve the problem.
Now, I write my server structure, hope someone can patinat with my
descriptions and do me a favor! Thanks!

I install MOSS 2007 on VM Server "MOSS2007" and SQL Server 2005 on another
server named "IVAN".
Both servers were Windows 2003 Servers.
And I want to use user "angi" to configure database, so I create user angi
on MOSS2007 and IVAN.
Their roles and permission as fellow:

MOSS2007 (VM Server):
¡@¡@local server: angi as Users

IVAN (SQL Server 2005):
¡@¡@local server: angi as Users, SQLServer2007MSSQLUser
¡@¡@SQL Server: IVAN\angi. Server roles: dbcreator, ssecurityadmin, sysadmin

1. Dose any mistake on roles and permission on both server? If not, why I
got error message?
2. What's mean of MOSS 2007 error: The account must be a local account or a
global domain account.
What is "global domain account"? Means AD acoount and must have AD?

Thanks for any advice!
Angi

If your database server is on another server, then angi must be a
domain account.
Yes! you need to have active directory installed somewhere to share
your account
angi on databaser server and web server.
