I am trying to get anonymous access on the first page of
the portal.
If I set IIS for the default web to allow anonymous
access it still challenges for credentials if you are not
in a group with permissions. There are currently
domain\Domain Users with read, and I tried server\Guest
with read, but that did not work either.

Any ideas on what I am over looking?

Cool, of course it had to be easy.

Nice article, I have one serious complaint about it
though, the author should have mentioned the security
issue before walking you through the first two steps, and
then later telling you, that you need to do another step
before you do the first two steps, which if your
following along have already done.

At least for some people who do not read all the
directions before begining (me)<----

Gosh, I can't believe I am still doing that.

Anyway, mission accomplished
Thanks

Yeah, I thought about that when I wrote it, but then again, I thought that
everyone would read it all the way through before implementing it :)
