Hi guys,

I know this may seem like a silly question, but if you don't have local
admin/access to your SPS development setup there's going to be a whole bunch
of things you can't do right (install web parts, change .css files, add
custom logos, etc.). So does anyone have this setup out there or does
everyone have full access to their dev/test environments? I'm just having
some problems getting access to mine because we're getting our SPS setup
from a 3rd party vendor and we didn't implicitly say we needed this and that
on the dev server (I have local admin on all my other dev servers in the
environment, we just figure it's natural). Thanks.

hi bill,

i think its necessary for the dev team to have full acces
or local admin rights on the development server machine,
otherwise your development could be hampered by things
such as insufficient rights or other stuffs brought about
by not having full access to the dev server you're working
on
