Hi,

I need to do some debugging of my smartphone (WM 6 Standard and WM 5
Smartphone Edition) application when the phone changes from portrait to
landscape. So far I can only find out how to start a WM 5.0 Smartphone or WM
6.0 Standard emalutors in either landscape or portrait mode. I can't figure
out how to make it switch between landscape and portrait while my application
is running. Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks,
Stephen

Jasper,

Thanks for the response, but I can't seem to find a rotate key. Maybe, I am
using the wrong emulator. I tried the WM 6 Standard Emulator, the WM 5
Smartphone Emulator, and the Motorola Q emulator. Is there another one I
should be using? Or am I just not finding the button (this wouldn't be the
first time) :)

Thanks,
Stephen

It shoudl be the right upper button on the front of the device..

Like this:

[LeftSoftkey] [RightSoftkey]
[app] [ROTATE]
up
left [action] right
down

On the WM 6 Standard and WM 5 Smartphone emulators the upper right button is
the back button.

I tried the WM 5 Pocket PC Phone emulator and the WM 6 Professional
emalutors. On those emulator the upper right button did rotate the emulator.
However, I need to rotate the WM 6 Standard or WM 5 Smartphone emulators.
Did I maybe misunderstand which button you were referring to?

Thanks,
Stephen

What smartphone supports rotation?
