Apart from buying specific CF card with RS232 cables (which is more =

Is there cable directly connecting the iPAQ acts like RS232 cable? Any =

Yes. Most OEMs sell cables for their PDAs that have a serial connector =
on them. It's different for each device, so check with them.

In addition to what Chris said, you will need a null modem adapter in series
with the manufacturer's cable (about $10).

From my experience, almost all Pocket PC have a built in COM port
(COM1) however they may not come with a serial sync cable. In most
cases you can purchase a serial sync cable for almost all Pocekt PC
models. Even if they do not explicitly state that they have a COM
port, they most likely do have one.
One important thing to remember is that the serial sync cable is wired
for connection to a desktop PC and so are most serial devices. This
means that you will also need a null modem adapter and a gender
changer in the line in order to connect the device to a serial sync
cable for a Pocket PC.
