Hello, I have bought the Forsberg/Sjostrum book, which looks like it's going
to be exactly what I want, but I can't get started. I cannot get the eVT
editor to run any forms at all, even the simplest ones. It works fine for
putting controls onto forms and for writing code, but every time I click the
run (play) button, I get a small grey window that says "loading remote
connection" (for a second), then a millisecond flash of a screen that might
look like a pocket pc, then black. The machine instantly crashes right out
and restarts - every time.
I am running the software off the Forsberg/Sjostrum CD, with Activesync 3.7
on Windows XP, and I have never had any such problems before. I am quite a
beginner here, so it may be something trivial (do I have to load separate
emulator software?) Does anyone have any idea what might be causing these
problems, and what I might try to fix it?
