I tried use eVC++3 run an application to "Pocket PC 2002 (default device)".
The application supposed to download through ActiveSync but eVC++3 only allow
connect ActiveSync by COM port. My cradle is connected by USB. Hence, error
"Fail to connect device" prompts always.

Can any one advice a solution?

eVC 3 does not care how ActiveSync is connected. If your development
computer has an ActiveSync connection to your target, that will be
good enough for the IDE. I know from personal experience that both
work with serial port, USB, wired Ethernet, and wireless Ethernet. Are
you sure you have an ActiveSync connection outside the eVC IDE?

If you really do have a connection, you can get a similar error
message if the target you specify in the IDE does not match the actual
target. I gather you have chosen "Pocket PC 2002" as the target for
the IDE. Are you sure the actual target is a Pocket PC 2002?
