Has anyone succeeded in playing WMV files on a Windows Mobile 5 device
via Directshow? And if so, would you share the steps you took to get
it to work? Where did you get the filters from?
I originally used the Mediaplayer OCX, but it has some quirks --
notably its not working with the Samsung Blackjack, and I'm getting
flickering/inability-to-stretch on Axim X51v;
So i decided to try directshow. I can get uncompressed avi's to play
in directshow; but I haven't found any thread that positively says they
were able to play wmv files.
And if not, are there any other formats that have decent compression
that will work with directshow?
