I found a bug with one of his controls that I paid for, and he first
responded to me on 6/21/04 that he would fix it, but I have since sent him
over two dozen emails to jeff@cegadgets.com and he has not responded :(

His website says that he is an "Microsoft eMVP for Windows CE", so I was
hoping that maybe another eMVP in this newsgroup might know where he is
hiding ;)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

He's at Interland (hosting service). This is the
same outfit PocketPCPassion.com was at. They had
a catastrophic malfunction at PPP (at least) and
that meltdown (Windows OS upgrade) probably extended
to others. This started around the late June/early
July. PPP is dead in the water, forever -- all was
lost. See if his jeffz@IX.NETCOM.COM email flys,
though I haven't see a netcom address in years (it
was bought by earthlink).

Buy cheap (hosting), pay for it later.

Hi,

Thanks for replying...

I did try the Netcom, and it failed :(

I also found his home telephone number at Infospace.com (it had the same
CRESTLINE town name as the whois listing), and that number was disconnected
:(

I hope something serious didn't happen to him...

I started as a Netcom customer approximately 10 years ago and my "true"
email address today is still xxx@ix.netcom.com.

All of Netcom's successors maintained the old domains.

As a followup, John got in touch with me shortly after posting this
message. To my knowledge I did resolve his issue, really an
enhancement to the control. I sent him the update and never heard back
from him (and sent a few followup emails) so I assume things are ok.

I switched hosting services around that time as well, and am no longer
with Interland. I took the cegadgets content down but my
jeff@cegadgets.com email address is working.
