Wich dev tools to use formaking CAD ?

Hello,

I would like to build a small CAD software for PocketPC 2003 and 2005.
Wich is the recommanded tool for this. I need something that can build a
fast app (image processing).

For small, fast apps, C/C++ is probably the way to go. Visual Studio
2005 is the official tool, and probably the least bad. If you can't
afford VS 2005, you could use eVC 4. With some care, you can use
either tool with the Pocket PC 2003 SDK and create executables that
run under either Pocket PC 2003 or Pocket PC 2005. But you can only
debug on a device that matches the SDK you use.

Do you think C# and the CF2 could be a solution ? (I'm not very easy with
C++, I come from Delphi).

I've never even tried C#, so I can't judge how well it might work. I
used Delphi only briefly, and a few years ago, so I can't judge how
well anything else might "fit" a Delphi programmer.

But my sense is that CAD would push limits on speed and program size.
And that suggests "native" code (unmanaged C/C++).
