Hi,

I am trying to browse the website hosted on my laptop... but the IE (on
mobile) is unable to find the website.

However, the two machines are able to ping each each.

Do I need to customize some entries?

What address / URL are you using?
What is the proxy address set to?
How are the two devices connected?

Connecting through WiFi.
IP addresses are allocated directly (169.X.X.X range).
No proxy... I've anyway put this IP in no-proxy range.

Besides, when I connect via USB, I am still unable to browse.

How is the WiFi interface configured? Does it connect to "Work" or
"Internet?"

URLs containing an IP address as host name are (by default) resolved to
"Internet." Thus if the WiFi interface is configured as connecting to
"Work," an exception to this default is required to map the URL to "Work"
(see exceptions list on your PPC). On the other hand, if the WiFi
connection points to "Internet," pIE should be able to use this connection
to connect to the URL. Of course, this assumes that the laptop has a
correctly configured and running http server, and the page being requested
exists.
