Upgrading my app onto a PPC50 device; Problems with the upgrade;

Hi,

stats:

device : PPC5.0
activesync: 4.1

I can install my app once without any problem.

When I install my app again with up dates it just installs the last cab file
it installed instead of the new one.


I think it is taking the cab file \program files\myapp\myapp.cab instead
of the new on the cd.

This does not happpen on the the 2003 devices.

Are you using the Add/Remove Programs dialog inside of ActiveSync or
copying the CAB across manually?

It sounds like you are having a problem with ActiveSync not loading the
right CAB from your desktop onto your device, is that right?
