there are some 3rd party products for doing TTS.
i've never actually worked with any of them, so i dont have any
reccommendations.
one name i kind of remember is elan TTS (or something like that)?
getting it any of them to work in PIE would probably be tricky.
i think IBM has a SALT browser for the Pocket PC too?
i believe it is separate from Pocket IE, and does not require WiFi.
could probably do TTS with it.
never used it either, but might be something to look for.
