Hello All,
I am currently working with a new version of Windows 5 Mobile for a PDA
device. I have developed a application that accesses files and
calculates information based on the data received. In addition, the
data is animated on screen. I have only tested this application using
an emulator.
In general, I am looking to gain confidence that the application runs
well using the platform?
As the target device is a PDA mobile phone running under Windows I was
wondering if anyone has experience of testing applications under this
environment!
The questions I have:
1. How can I measure the usage of the application resources whilst the
application is running?
2. How can I get a test application to capture and send key inputs to
the application and read of results of operations?
3. Can I automate the testing of this to simulate operation of the
application, test the operation of the mobile device?
4. Can I capture the results of these operations to a file?
5. Is there any software out there that allows me to achieve my aims?
If so, can anyone recommend some test suites.
6. Is there any free software I can use to automate testing in
general...?
