Hello,
Does anyone know what the Microsoft support is (or will be in 6 months)
for Pocket PC 2000 and Pocket PC 2002?

What type of "support"? The devices themselves are supported by the
vendors. The underlying OS (CE 3.0) will be supported for several more
years by Microsoft. CF 1.0 is supported. CF 2.0 is not. eVB is supported.
DirectDraw is not. 320x240 is supported, anything other resolution is not.
A web server is not supported. Pocket IE is. I could go on, but I'll let
you clarify your question first.

Hi Chris,
So, actually, I meant OS support. That is, will they continue to provide
the OS and relevant SDKs to device manufacturers and developers? From an
unofficial perspective, will Pocket PC 2000 and 2002 devices continue to be
available? I presume device manufacturers will include windows mobile 5.0 in
lieu of ppc 2000 and 20002? I'm asking since I need to know whether or not to
continue to support our application on those platforms. Thanks!

The OS will be supported, but it's very unlikely any OEMs will continue to
produce Pocket PCs based on them, as that's marketing suicide.

Hi Chris,
Do you know where I can get some Microsoft documentation on their plans
for the OS, i.e. that they will be supporting it? Or, can you tell me how you
know? I presume you're not speaking on behalf of Microsoft, right? Thanks!

Cheers!

I know the dates becasue I work for an OEM, but it's part of their publicly
documented lifecycle plan, which they publish for all of their products, not
just CE:
