I have seen the various advertisements and articles about
how easy it is to develop PocketPC 2003 applications using
Visual Studio.Net 2003. I currently own .Net 2002, and
upgrading is extremely expensive for an individual
deceloper such as myself. Is it possible to get the same
(or similar) functionality out of Visual Studio.Net 2002
in so far as Visual Basic.Net development goes for
PocketPC 2003 devices?

--Thanks,

The upgrade is supposed to be $29, provided that you have appropriate
version of VS.NET 2002 (professional and up)
It is not possible to use VS2002 for PPC2003 development (or any
CompactFramework development)

Thanks. I ended up picking up a copy of VS.Net 2003.
Being a student, I qualified for the academic price, but I
was hoping to be able to avoid having to shell out ANY
money. Ohh well, VS.Net 2003 is very nicely done.
