Pocket PC 2003 SDK + MIPS

Hi,

I am compiling a project in EVC4.0 targetting MIPS devices.

I have installed Pocket PC 2003 SDK.

But the MIPS option doesnt appear in the WCE configuration of the EVC4.0 IDE.

I also checked the installation folder of the PPC 2003 SDK,

\\Windows CE Tools\wce420\POCKET PC 2003\Target\armv4.
\\Windows CE Tools\wce420\POCKET PC 2003\Target\x86.

I find only ARM and X86 target. The target folder MIPS is not available in
that.

Can any one suggest me where do I get the SDK to build the application for
MIPS devices in EVC4.0.

If you want to develop for PPC (Win CE 3.0) you have to use evc3 und PPC
SDK. evc4 is for WinCE 4.2 and later. All devices are "ARM" sind
PPC2002. You can find evc3 and the PPC SDK on Microsoft's web site.

Microsoft's specifications for Pocket PC 2002 and Pocket PC 2003 say
it is only for ARM CPUs. So their SDKs support only ARM. If your
actual target runs Pocket PC 2003 on a MIPS CPU, then it must be a
specialized product and you will need an SDK from its manufacturer. If
your target runs Pocket PC, then you will need that SDK, which works
with eVC 3, not eVC 4. (Note Pocket PC, Pocket PC 2002, and Pocket PC
2003 are three different platforms, and thus use 3 different SDKs.)
