Pocket PC Help

I understand that Pocket PC Help supports .gif files, but I can only get it
to recognize .bmp or .2bp extensions. If I use the .gif file, when Help
opens the .htm file it dispalys an error message and doesn' show the picture.
Is .gif really supported? Thanks.

...forgot to mention that the program is a C# Windows Mobile 5.0 application.

For whatever reason the help application still only supports bitmap files,
even though it uses the same HTML rendering as Pocket IE which does support
GIF and JPG images.
