Hello everyone,
I have to migrate application on a PDA from eVb to VS2008 someone knows if
there are
tools that allow me at least not having to redraw any form?

Thanks in advance

Paolo

Hello Paolo,
Look at http://msdn.microsoft.com/mobility/windowsmobile/downloads/evb.aspx
eVB is embedded visual basic that was phased out in 2002 - * never used *.

Looking at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/189478 the differences sound
similar to .netcf and .net - controls are different, but the same.- code
is more or less transferrable but the binaries are not. This link is from
2005 so I have to believe the code is going to be friendly... good luck

Hi,
we do a tool which will migrate the GUI for you, but no code -
http://www.gui-innovations.com/html/evb_to_dotnet_forms.html

There is a 30 day demo

Thanks

Pete
