    - WM5: IDs for standard shell icons in coredll.dll? Hi, I am using ExtractIcon() to get ICON handles for folder and unknown icon from coredll.dll for some reasons. This worked fine for PPC2002 and WM2003 (only difference between them is, that the IDs for the icons where exchanged...) e.g. "coredll.dll,-id" But under WM5 I get not icon handles! Have the IDs changed again or even moved to another DLL!? Maybe I should use SHGetFileInfo()? How does this work for .NET CF 1.0 and C#?     - POCKET PC GUI issue Hi All, I have one appliaction which is meant for PocketPC devices. the GUI which i have made runs fine in an some versions of IPAQ(hp iPAQhx2410, hp iPAQ h6365, hp iPAQhw6965 etc.... ), which has got 240 X 320 pixel size and OS version is winCE4.21. I tried downloading the driver3 beta setup and running it, but I dont see windows mobile device center under "additional options" in control panel.     - How to associate a directdraw surface with a DC Windows Mobile 5 newbie, C++, Win32 I want to get a pointer to a memory buffer containing raw pixel data from an image loaded from a file. I've got code that loads the file into memory, and code that displays that image. But I want to access the memory that has the image data directly, and I want to do it my own buffer ins of the display memory. I can access the framebuffer directly: I do that by creating a surface with IDirectDraw::CreateSurface, which creates one for the device's display. Is there a way to get a surface for an in-memory device context? GetSurfaceFromDC would seem to do this, except that its documentation says that it "will succeed only for device context handles that identify surfaces already associated with the DirectDraw object."     - Wifi reconnect problems HP/Socket Hi We have some specialist evc4 applications that run on HP2210 and use a Socket CF wireless LAN card to communicate This combination works really well beacuse Socket have devloped their own special driver that allows for a non standard feature. This feature allows that when the card goes out of and back into range of the access point in AUTOMATICALLY reconnects. All other cards we have tried require the usual off/on the PDA or the radio or go into with WM2005 zero config to 'reset' the connection Now they have just developed a new 802.11g version of the card and this works great in the HP2210 with all of the features we need ..... except you can no longer get hold of the 2210 other than the occasional ebay item ! We are looking at it's natuaral replacement in the form of the new hx2190 Unfortuneatley there is a 'compatibility issue' between the card and the hx2190. Socket say they need HP to amend someting in the ROM and issue a ROM upgrade. I gather there has been a "half promise" from HP that this will happen but no date has been given and this has gone on for months. Now I know the next model up the hx2490 has built in wifi BUT we would loose the auto reconnect feature which is very important to us. I'm posting here in the hope that someone with close links to HP might see this and be able to help move the situation on. I can imagine there is no 'big rush' from HP as they already have a wireless version of this PDA but it must be a loss of a large target audience to Socket for it's CF Wifi card as there are not may pda's about with CF slots these days.     - Emulator doesn't work in VS 2005 Hi, I have a strange problem: I have a project for Compact Framework 1.0 developed in Visual Studio 2005. On my PC the project works perfectly. If I try to share the code with a collegue (through svn) it results that he CAN build the project, but he CANNOT deploy nor debug it on the Pocket PC emulator. It seems that it doesn't copy any file. We have tried to add a new CF1.0 project within the same solution, and it works. We have checked the projects' options: they are the same. Any suggestion?     - Passthru intermediate driver and Microsoft's Wireless Manager Hi. I am trying to make an NDIS intermediate driver based on the passthru example included in the platform builder. With both the passthru example from WINCE 5. 0 and WINCE 6.0 I run into the same problem: The passthru driver is not compatible with Microsoft's own application for powering WLAN on and off (this is the Wireless Manager or wrlsmgr.exe). After installing passthru and making sure it bind properly between the real WLAN miniport and all the protocols, the wrlsmgr.exe will no longer be able to power on or power off the card. This has been tested with Windows Mobile 5.0 devices and unmodified versions of the passthru example. There is a hack floating around in the Window Mobile newsgroups where you return NDIS_STATUS_NOT_SUPPORTED instead of forwarding NetEventSetPower. This hack does not work for me. I've been using axim x50v with socketscan CF barcode reader in remote application thru terminal service client mode but I need to get better one for heavier use. While I was seaching web, I found symbol ppt 8846 - wm 2003 version, and this one seems perfectly fits my need.     - irda stack My name is Pramod i am building irda stack with obex as my top layer,with a fixed baudrate of 9600 . I am testing the stack with nokia 6020 mobile. But if the to be data received is more than 7 kb ,stack is getting disconnected ,i.e (command "53") is received.forexample I am sucessfully gettting data of 6kb of jpeg correctly ,but if data is 7.3kb then iam getting 6.9kb of jpeg file and for 120kb of jpeg file it getting disconnected at 70kb with same command( "53" it is disconnect commmand for lap)?     - Error Trying to Load compact framework 2.0 (NETCFSetupv2.msi) When I try to load the .net framework 2.0 (NETCFSetupv2.msi) I get a message indicating: Another version of this product is already installed.     - loading theme programmatically Hi, I wish to change the theme (tsk file) programmatically. I read this article: http://www.pocketpcdn.com/articles/changetodaytheme.html That seems to work only half.. First I load the standard "Guava Bubbles" theme. This has lots of red system colors. The I use my above code to load my theme. It seems the tdywater image is loaded, not sure about stwater one. But the system colors should change to blue, but they stay red of the pevious theme. Even though I deleted the "UseStartImage" value. Do I need to delete some other keys regarding color? The other problem is, after a reboot, this change is lost!     - C# NETCFv2 HiDPI Font Size Hi, When painting directly to a form and using a Font, I'd like to be able to set the point size directly like in C++. I know that it's 19 on a VGA HiDPI device, but the Font that gets created at that size is HUGE. It seems that the NETCF v2 is doing something to my font internally that I don't have control over and I'd like to try and figure out how to disable it. I've tried setting the AutoScaleMode of the Form to 'None' but that didn't have any effect. I can divide the 'real' font size by 2.5 to get a font that looks very close to what a native application would show but that seems like a terrible hack when something more elegant should be available.     - keyboard localization Hi gang. I own Palm Wireless Keyboard. The keyboard is not supported on my iPaq 3630. I have written an application that translates scan codes transmitted over IrDA to keybd_event() calls. It works very well for standard english layout. I hope to publish the code and I would very like to let the application grow by others to support other keyboards and international layouts. There are some keys missing on this small keyboard, so a chord on the Palm Wireless keyboard has to be translated to other chord on the standard PC layout, which looks twisted, but works. One example. When I press green Fn key and apostrophe on the Palm Wireless keyboard, scan codes shift down, back apostrophe and shift up are sent by keybd_event() to emit tilde. While this works for standard english layout, I would like to support other languages. I am Czech, so I would like to write letters from Latin-2 table. Is it possible to do it by keybd_event() on non localized Pocket PC (US english) ? The only method I could imagine is to write a SIP to emit internationalized characters. Am I right?     - Vista RTM Ultimate and Oulook 2007 RTM Windows Mobile 5 device NOT SYNC I have vista RTM ultimate and outlook 2007 RTM on my PC. When I plug my t mobile MDA running windows mobile 5.0 into the machine it asks me to SYNC with windows media player. in the windows mobile device center it shows it connected.     - VX6700 Pocket PC Notifications Stop every 2-3 weeks and require hard boot to get going Verizon has replaced my UTStarcom VX6700 Pocket PC 6 times (yes, 6 times!). After a couple weeks the edit of Tasks and calendar entries stops working which can be fixed by soft boots. About a week later the notifications for tasks, calendars and alarms stop and they are not fixed with a soft boot. Verizon helpdesk has me do a hard boot (which means I need to reset all the configs) and the notifications work. But then they stop again, so Verizon replaces the pocket pc and it starts all over again. Yes, you guessed it, my 6th one is now in this state. Hi,

I am trying to call methods in IMAPISession Interface in c# using
[comImport] attribute with guid {00020300-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}.

and i calling the GetMsgStoresTable from MapiSession Object.

But i am getting exception Interface Not Supported.
i.e 00020300-0000-0000-C000-000000000046

Can Anybody Know This Exception?
Why This is Not Supporting For Windows Mobile?
If You Know Tell Me How to Use That Interface Exactly?
