I've written an app which is dependent on a 3rd party DLL which I install on
an iPaq via ceAppMgr. However, you can't use CeAppMgr to install apps on
the emulator

Does anyone know how to install such 3rd party app on the emulator?

Thanks...

Chances are you won't have a version of the app for the emulator since
applications are normally only released in ARM versions for real devices,
whereas the emulator requires apps to be compiled for the X86 architecture.

You can use CeAppMgr if you connect the emulator to ActiveSync first.
Instructions are in eVC Help or you can use the unsupported ActiveSync Power
Toy (search microsoft.com for it).

But yes, probably the application doesn't have a .dll that works on the
emulator.
