Hi guys,

Would like to know if it is possible to install Windows CE/Mobile on
computer systems instead of just on PDAs.

Regards,
Kyne

Windows CE is already available for x86 systems, plus it's in a whole lot of
non-PDA devices.

True, but the I'm pretty sure that's only using Platform Builder.
Windows CE is not available as a product that can be loaded onto a PC.
The closest is probably the new, stand-alone, emulator from Microsoft;
it runs under a Windows desktop operating system.

There are plenty of CEPC vendors that will sell you an x86 already loaded
with CE, ready to roll.

I've known for a few years that folks are using CE on x86 CPUs, but
hadn't noticed anyone selling them. Am I quibbling to say these
vendors aren't quite "retail"? Or have they become more visible/retail
lately? Or have I just not been seeing well?
