Hi All,

I built a Windows Mobile 5.0 app in VS 2005.When am deploying it says
"There were deployment errors.Continue?".The link which i referred said to
use remote process viewer to kill the process. But my remote process viewer is
not getting coinnected to my emulator. It says to check my transport and
bootstrap settings.but they are proper.

Regards,
Ravi

you can kill the process on the emulator through memory->running programs
control panel applet.
Or,better do a soft reset of the emulator.

Amit,

Actually this is the first time am building this application. My emulator
itself is not getting launched.just when pressing start without debugging it
asks me where to deploy and once i select windows mobile 5.0 Pocket PC
Emulator it says error. So i actually dont know how to soft reset the
emulator. Also i dont know where the menu memory->running programs exist. Can
you kindly tell little detail on this.

You can "reset" it by using "tools" > "Device emulator Manager" right
clicking the device.

As for getting the memory maneger in pocket PC it is under "Start" Then
"Settings" Then "System" Then 'Memory" Then "running Programs" select the
process and stop it.

Jeremy thanks for your reply.

But when i click tools->DeviceEmulator Manager i dont see any Emulator
Images.I have only one option called Others. Moreover all the options like
connect shutdown reset are all disabled.I dont find a single emulator
image.Thats confusing me.

Ravi,

It sounds like the Windows Mobile SDK needs to be reinstalled. If I were
you, that is where I would start.
