Can anybody please let me know about the issues that might
popup if we use the Pocket PC emulator in the real time
environment?

The performance is one issue but that's major only in case
we use multimedia.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Regards,
Teekam.

The biggest issue is that the emulator can not be used for real-time tests,
after all it is an emulator, yes, indeed the performance issue. Otherwise
the emulator is pretty good. Most of the times I am able to use the emulator
during a whole development cycle and only in the last stage go to an actual
device. Of course you have to realize that the emulator uses an x86
processor and your target might use another processor. Although I have not
had problems with that this is something to be aware off. Anyway, as long as
you don't have specific hardware to depend on during tests and you can live
with a slower performance the emulator is a great tool.

No, saving state is really the biggest issue and indeed a real pain if you
forget it.

By the way,I do think it is the biggest issue and indeed a real pain too. Do
you know how to let the default valute to be "Close Emulator " instead of
"Saveing State" ?
