DVD-ROM device for PocketPC ?

Hello,

Does such an item exist for a Pocket PC PDA ? If yes how is it
recognized by the OS.

Any recommendation ?

Good evening,
I've read a lot of posts on different websites of how people have attempted
to do that very thing, as there isn't a direct application out there that I'm
aware of. (If I am wrong, then anyone please correct me). Unfortunately
nobody that I saw was able to make it work, as the pocket pc has such a
limited ability to work with anything more formidable than a storage card.
Everybody I have seen has run into severe memory issues when trying to mate a
DVD ROM with their pocket pc...one of them so severely crashed his Wizard
that he had to reinstall almost everything even after a hard reset.
