eVC++ Cannot build anything

hi

I am trying to compile "Hello World" project given by eVC++, but it is
givin following error-

Error executing cl.exe

I tried creating an empty project and a simple program. Still the same
error is occuring.
Can anybody plz help me out. I have not used eVC++ before, so I'm new
to it.

Uninstall and reinstall - make sure you install as Admin.

Hi,

Thanks for the prompt reply.
I have already done that. Also I am the administrator of my machine. I
tried logging in as another administrator id of my machine, but still I
am getting the same error. Does that mean that there is something in my
machine configuration that is causing this error??
