Anyone using symbol ppt 8846 in terminal service client ?

I've been using axim x50v with socketscan CF barcode reader
in remote application thru terminal service client mode
but I need to get better one for heavier use.

While I was seaching web,
I found symbol ppt 8846 - wm 2003 version,
and this one seems perfectly fits my need.

What I need to know is if the scanning function would works
in terminal service client mode because I had hard time to make
it work with x50v with socketscan scanner.

The device has a scanwedge application, with which you can scan
anything and it will be sent to the active window, as if it had been
typed.
