Hi,
I am developing a product which has two parts - one on the Desktop PC
and one on the Pocket PC. WE are using Activesync (with cab files,
and setup.dll) to transfer the Client software onto the Pocket PC.
Basically, we do not want the user to be able to add/remove the Client
software directly using Activesync - our Desktop software has a button
which will do this for them (so we can keep a note for licensing
reasons).
Does anyone know how to disable the check box in Activesync add/remove
programs, so that the user can not unselect it and uninstall the app
from the Pocket PC? Secondly, can we unregister the app
programmatically from the Activesync add/remove programs. Have had a
look at CEAppMgr but can't see how this can be done. Alternatively,
could this be initiated in the Uninstall_Exit section in the
Setup.dll?
Any help would be much appreciated!!!
