Is it possible to do raw-ir on the pocket pc. We were
developing a palm application where the raw-ir worked on
some processors but not others. Would the same
inconsistency be found on the Pocket Pc platform?

I've had good results with both PocketPC and Palm
as far as Raw IR goes. What's nice about the Palm
is that you pretty much always open the port the
same way. On Pocket PC the COM port # moves
around from model to model and on some you have
to enable the IrDA pulse shaper, but not on others.
The only really odd ones I've seen are the OMAP
Palm OS5 units, where you have to use an IrDA
frame instead of completely raw IR.
