work offline

I wanted to work offline, and clicked the work offline
box and then next. But it wouldn't take it - insisted I
enter the password for my .net account.

how do i work offline?

Even if you disconnect from the Internet, Money would require you to
enter your Passport data to allow access to your Money data. It
doubles as a password.
