I've lost my MS Money 2004 disk and need to rebuild my pc so we bought an
external hard drive (since we needed to save other important stuff anyways).
I just want to make sure - do I still need the disk to load MS Money back on
the computer's hard drive? we're supposed to have all this done this
saturday and I'm really nervous. ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED!!!

It depends how do you use your external hard drive. If you simply copy
the files to the external hard drive, you will still need the CD to
reinstall the program. However, if you use disk cloning tools, such as
Ghost from Symantec, to make a clone of your hard disk right after you
install Money and other softwares, you should be able to recovery
without reinstalling any of the software.

HTH.
