I have set up my accounts and budget and I notice that when I edit my budget there is a Budget group called "Transfers into budget Accounts", What is this for and how wou;ld one use it?     - Stock Symbol Limits on Money I have stock I will refer as ABC Co. and the symbol is (ABC) I have this stock in multiple portfolios. Example one in my 401K account and the same company stock with a separate broker account. MS Money only allows you to list a stock symbol once period. Once I use that symbol it does not allow me to use it elsewhere. Is this a bug or am I performing this all wrong. Thanks in advance for any advice or suggestions.     - rate of return for options "N/A" I am using Money 2004 Deluxe. I sold some June call options months ago, the value of the call options have steadily dropped since then, which means profit in my favor, so Money has been correctly calculating the returns (annual, YTD, etc), up until Friday, when June options epxired. So on Friday, I entered a transaction for the call option to expire them, but now, under the returns, there is "N/A" displayed, so all the sudden Money can't calculate this anymore?     - Thanks, group! You fixed my Passport problem. After a system reinstall I was having the dreaded "sign-in unsuccessful" problem with Passport. A Google search turned up several suggestions, none of which worked until I found Dick Watson's post on Feb 7th which, among other things, suggested re-registering msxml3.dll (regsvr32 msxml3.dll). This fixed me! As to what may have screwed up the registration in the first place, I can only speculate that it may have had something to do with the fact that I installed Visual Studio.NET 2003.     - Transfers between accounts I am having a problem with transferring money between accounts at different banks, when I transfer money between accounts at my primary bank (BOA) the transaction shows up at the same time in each account, money in money out on the same day, however when I transfer to accounts at other institutions (or pay a credit card) there is a lag between the time the money leaves BOA and when it shows up somewhere else, usually about 1-3 days. This causes problems when I download statements from both places, if I mark the money leaving BOA as a transfer to the other account then the money is added to that account register immediately, then when I download the statement from the account that I am transferring to it shows up twice in the register... this can be a real hassle to track down and fix. Portfolio->Update Prices->Pick Prices to download and uncheck the one you
don't want to track. Alternatively, delete the symbol from the investment
details.
