I've just purchased Money 2004 and I'm trying to figure out how to print
postdated checks.

I've figured out how to create a recurring transaction but when I go to
print the checks there is only one check waiting to be printed.

Thank in advance.

And how many checks are in the account register(s) with the word "Print" in
the number field?

I print postdated checks all of the time. I don't think your problem is the
postdated checks, but from your description, I'm not sure exactly what it
is. I think you are confusing scheduling a recurring item with the ability
to print them. A transaction has to be in the register to print it. You can
enter the next dozen items in the register from a scheduled recurring item,
each marked Print, each dated the date you want, and then print them. But if
they aren't in the register, they won't print, postdated or not.

Thanks, that is what I've figured out. So the next question is; How do I
get the transactions into the register. There has to be an easier way than
manually entering each transaction. I figured out how to create a recurring
transaction but it doesn't get added to the register until the date of the
transaction.

Thanks again.

Go to the bills and deposits area of money. click the transaction you want
to enter into the register and then click the button at the bottom of the
list (enter into register). You can enter a transaction into the register
this way regardless of when it's recurring date is. If the date is in the
future then it will be entered into the register with that future date (sort
you register by date - the post date will be below a line near the end that
is created.

You can set them to be automagically entered some number of days ahead.
Generally, though, it sounds like you are on the right track.
